What to prepare

Echora works with your editing project: audio provides the content, while XML preserves the link to the original timeline.

Add the recording containing the project conversations. MP3, WAV, and MOV are supported.

XML

XML from your NLE

Export a synchronized FCP7 XML. It carries the time ranges and links to the original project.

    Create a project and add the mixed audio file together with XML from your NLE.

Echora returns the story to your familiar workflow

Import the XML into your NLE and continue working with the original project. Video tracks stay in that project; selected speech clips are placed at their source timecodes.

Before your first project

Why is XML required?

It carries time ranges and links to the original editing project so selected clips can return to the timeline.

Can I correct speaker names?

Yes. After transcription, you can change speaker names and assign roles.

Does Echora edit the film automatically?

No. Echora creates a story-driven draft from speech. The final structure and edit remain yours.

Where can I import the result?

The XML workflow supports Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro.
